How to Block Bay Hours
Need to take a bay offline for maintenance or technical reasons? Teelogix lets you block specific time slots to prevent bookings during unavailable hours—keeping your operations smooth and error-free.
What Does “Block Bay Hours” Mean?
The Block Bay Hours feature allows you to temporarily make a simulator bay unavailable for booking during a specific time range. This is ideal when a bay is undergoing:
- Routine maintenance
- Hardware or software issues
- Private staff use
- Any other downtime reason
Blocked times will show as unavailable on the booking calendar, and cannot be selected by customers or staff.
How to Block a Bay
Go to the Bookings tab
Select Calendar View
At the bottom, click Block Hour
A form will appear:
- Bay: Choose the bay you want to block
- Date: Pick the day the block will apply
- Start and End Time: Define the blocked period
- Reason: Select a reason (Maintenance, Hardware Issue, etc.)
- Click Block to save
The selected time range will now appear greyed out or marked as unavailable
Where Can I See Blocked Hours?
Blocked hours are visible directly in the calendar view. You’ll see:
- Greyed out time slots

- These slots are locked for new bookings until the block is removed.
Can I Edit or Remove a Block?
Yes. Click on the blocked time slot, then:
- Edit the time range or reason
- Or click Remove Block to make the bay available again
